A teacher looks after the best interests of the students and genuinely play an important role in society. They can make or break a future generation, such is the power that rests in the hands of the teachers, but unfortunately, this was not true, with this one American maths teacher who has been charged and arrested for having sex with three of her students.
We bring you this Breaking News in detail, of how a teacher misused power and disrespected her students.
According to her LinkedIn account, Erin McAuliffe the teacher graduated from Methodist University in 2014 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics.
She was hired at the Rocky Mount Preparatory school in August of 2016.
She was apparently single.
Allegations were made of misconduct against the teacher, by the school officials, who had fired her on May 4 itself, a day before the police were tipped off about the latter offense.
Detectives with the Rocky Mount Police Department conducted interviews with students and staff at the school, which has 1,300 students from kindergarten to 12th grade (17-18-year-olds), before obtaining a warrant for the 25-year-old’s arrest.
Erin McAuliffe was arrested on suspicion of carrying on sexual relationships with three male students.

From the three students, one was a 16-year-old minor and two were 17-year-olds.
She’s currently in Carteret County Jail on $20,000 bail with the first court hearing scheduled for 12th, June 2017.
Under the North Carolina Law, $3x with a minor carries a sentence of 51-64 months in prison, and with this being her first reported offense, it’s likely it would not go beyond that.
